Meet The Coach

I’ve been playing pickleball since I was 8 years old, and over the years, it’s become more than just a sport—it’s a passion. With over 3 years of coaching experience, I love helping players of all levels grow their game, whether you’re a total beginner, or an experienced player looking to sharpen your strategy and technique. Over the years I’ve won multiple 4.5-5.0 level gold medals, and coached many students to high level tournament success. I am currently Head Pro at Urban Pickleball, an indoor club in downtown Seattle, and I offer private coaching on the side.

Beginner Training Plan

Your first lesson
The first lesson with a beginner will oftentimes be going over the rules of the game, explaining basic grips and shots, and some light dinking with the coach to get a better idea of your overall skill level.

Lesson 2-3
After lesson 1, I like to introduce serves, returns, and the drop shot into the teaching. These are all fundamental shots that will be essential to any student’s success.

Lesson 4-10
Once the student has improved in these areas, we will go over advanced strategy, drives, speedups, and counters.

Lesson 11+
Past this stage, lessons will be testing how well you can put all the pieces together with coach feedback. At this stage you will be well on your way to 4.0 or 4.0.

What the Coach Provides

I will bring high quality balls, nets, cones, and any other training related gear. I also bring high quality pro-grade demo paddles for students to use during any lesson!

What You Need to Bring

Students should bring comfortable closed toed shoes, water, and a paddle to play with. If a student does not have a paddle, I can provide them with a demo paddle for the lesson!
